Very nice! I have some of those cultists myself and was in two minds whether to keep them or try and realise the money they are worth now! Looks like I may have been persuaded!

Love the combination of models from different sources but by the same sculptor.

The group is brilliant and the conversions, as usual, are superbly executed. :-*

'JOIN US!'

At least; that's what they used to say when I played Chaos Gate back in the day  :D

Lovely, moody painting on these. They never were very popular back in the day, probably because you needed a virtual ton of them in a useable list, and they were too expensive (being metal) for the majority of people to field in large numbers. I never encountered them myself. Just like the Frateris Militia (?) on the Imperial side actually.

Such a shame, because they're obviously excellent figures and you've done them more than justice. Isn't the heavy weapon guy a conversion? Love the creepy haemonculus as well; suits the mood perfectly :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

@mcfonz - you absolutely should paint yours - they're great figures. Or failing that, send them my way ;)

@Daeothar - lots of people seemed to have a few of them, not many folks had loads. I think 20 is the minimum I'd like to have, but I think it might top out at 12 based on my limited resources (including oddities and hangers-on)!

Both of the guys with long-ranged weapons are conversions using plastic Necromunda bits. They're just the right style ans scale!

Lovely stuff as always, sir!

I've always been on the fence about those cultist sculpts. They're interesting and unusual (those hat-masks! The ornate details on some of the guns!), but I was never clear what they're really meant to be. If civilians, why are they all so buff? Etc. Something just seemed unfinished about them. But you're finishing them up in great style.

Looking great, what a lovely job. Look forward to seeing more about the minigun guy and what he looks like painted up.  8)

@Belligerentparrot - totally agree. For years I thought very much the same. I've very much enjoyed painting them though - clearly it's a cult of bodybuilders who really like skirts and funny hats!!

@Raedwald - the big lad is coming next!

PM sent back :)

The little dudes only seem to be available from the US unfortunately. That said, I bought them without any issue and shipping was much more reasonable than US to UK shipping usually is.

 Nice work on these Jon.
I have always liked the Paul Muller Cultist figures but dont own any.
Seem like they are all Paul Muller sculpts.
I got the little guy's in the KS that Cauldronborn miniatures did.Very nice little figures.

Feels like someone should do a sci fi evil cult kickstarter with Paul Muller... plenty of supporters I'd suspect.

A couple more additions to the Paul Muller-themed cult - big lads this time! Both are Paul Muller sculpts (the Heresy ghoul king and a Reaper dreg chieftain). A few little adaptations and they're good to run with the cultists!

Wonderful work, as always  8)

I have the Ghoul King myself (the naughty version). He's leading my ghouls (obviously) and it's a great sculpt. You did a bang on job of pulling him into the 40K universe with just some small additions and changes.

I know the second sculpt as well, but I never knew they were so similar! They could be brothers (and they probably are)  :D
