Pulp Alley custom character cards?
« on: August 06, 2014, 01:37:10 PM »
I often see some custom PA cards of the league characters.
There is some online free programs on the web that could be used to create these cards? Thanks.

I use the card images Dave has posted and edit these in Photoshop. Easy stuff if you know your way around in Photoshop.

I for one have no idea at all how to use Photoshop.  I would however buy a deck of blank cards based on the template.

You can use this service to have them printed:
http://www.printerstudio.com/personalized/custom-playing-cards-gifts.html

But if you want to have custom cards of your own models, I can also do that for you. I just need photos of your models, their names and their Pulp Alley stats. I'll whip up a character card in Photoshop and send them to you. Let me know if you're interested. And of course, free of charge!

Thanks, but I want to create the cards myself and just print, probably I will change often these cards, so I can't ask that you do one new each time ;)

Malebolgia,
Thanks for the offer.  I may take you up on it, if I can't come up with a good way to print out the blank cards on heavt stock.

Malebolgia,
Just curious, so you would be emailing us files to be printed out or actual cards?

Files for the printer. I don't have a printer at home. And I can also provide them as separate files, as a total PDF or however you want them. I can send them in PDF form or as images, whatever you want. The latter is the best way if you want to use a printing service like this one:
http://www.printerstudio.com/personalized/custom-playing-cards-gifts.html

IMO very cheap for a very good finish. I think Dave uses a similar source for the Resource and printed character cards.

Why not? :D

You generousity is tempting me  :D
Well, here an easy PA league, just two characters for two cards:

Leader (0): Sir Errol Baker
H d10 B 3d10 S 4d10 D 3d10 M 2d8 F 3d10 C 2d8
Abilities: Sharp, Dashing, Marksman

Sidekick (3): Bagi
H d10 B 4d8 S - D 4d8 M 2d6 F 3d8 C 2d6
Abilities: Animal, Hardened Veteran, Quick Strike

Malebolgia, I see you are from Netherland, curiously in these years there are many tourists from netherland in limone piemonte (the sweet little town in mountains where I'm enjoying some holidays now), probably because they like our Maritime Alps... There are many dutch that like hiking and mountaineering?  ;)
Usually tourists prefer to visit other most (in)famous places in Italy, but maybe they are discovering that Italy have many more places to see (and often cheaper and nicer)  :D

Here you go:

(you sure about Bagi's d10 health)?

And yes, Dutch love hiking (and holidays in Europe in general). Me too! Me and the misses are more into "nature"-oriented holidays instead of "culture"-oriented holidays. So we go into the mountains for two weeks and hike each day.
Only been twice in Italy (Toscalano Maderno, next to Lake Garda) and it was fantastic. Surely going back someday. You have a fantastic country, great people and great food.

I think he did them as a "Duo" league.

Thanks, yes is a duo league, so the health of the sidekick is shifted to 10 ;)
