Six Gun Sound - Blaze of Glory from Two Hour Wargames.  Very easy to run a true RPG with these rules.

Wild West by FGU (available in pdf form)
More crunch than a cowboy boot on gravel but very satisfying.
Your horse gets its own character sheet too.

I might be wrong but I believe (from the THW forum) that a revision might be in the work to adjust the mechanics slightly.

I ran Boot Hill 1.3 million years ago.  It was great fun.  I made it chronologically/historically accurate but the characters were more spaghetti Western.  I.E.  Lincoln County wars with "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".  Great fun!   Can never go wrong with Savage Worlds!

I've played GURPS old west and sidewinder d20. Both mods of tried and tested systems, great on realism but maybe a little dry. Lots of fantastic background info on weapons and locations, particularly in the GURPS book.

Aces and Eights, Deadlands/ Savage Worlds, Tri-Stat system (can run ANYTHING with that), if you read Swedish the great Western Rollspelet (now kickstarter for the 4th edition!!!), Coyote Trail and I've heard Gutshot might be a contender too.

Hate to pimp myself...but my S&S game has gotten many positive reviews, especially from mini gamers.  See my sig for the game and reviews (there is even a video review).  Its petty cheap, but feel free to PM me and I'll send you a comp copy link.
