Militia Miniatures - Kickstarter now open!
« on: 25 August 2014, 02:30:58 AM »

Militia Miniatures are launching a new range of 28mm modern mercenaries through Kickstarter, so head over and have a look: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1056922531/militia-miniatures-28mm-modern-mercenaries

We've got 8 figures to start with, extra figures to be unlocked, scenery and accessories to come and even a limited number of free rules for those who grab them first!

We hope you like them, and if there's any questions, just give us a shout.

Excellent, thanks for the pledge!

Thanks for the reply, the sculptor is Faron Betchley, working out of the US.  He's done work for Splintered Light and Crossover Miniatures previously and we've been very happy with his work for us.

That was certainly one of the inspirations for the range, along with some other films and computer games like Call of Duty, etc.

Woohoo!!!  We've hit our initial funding target within 36 hours, so thank you to everyone who has pledged so far!

Next up is the unlock goals, with Charlie being the first on the list.  If we can get up to £2000, then she'll be added to the FULL SQUAD pledge as a freebie, and become available for selection on all other pledges!

Being the only girl in the group could have been a difficult job for Charlie, but from the minute she gave Bennett a wedgie she was accepted as one of the guys.

We've hit our £2000 stretch goal target, so Charlie is now unlocked!  Thanks again to everyone who has pledged so far.

She will be added FREE to any 'FULL SQUAD' pledges and will be available for selection on all other pledge levels.

As an extra bonus, we will now be adding FREE BASES to every pledge level.  Lasercut from 2mm MDF, we'll have either 20mm or 25mm widths, in either square or circular options.  (If some folk need a different size, I'm sure we can sort that out!)

Next up is the £2500 stretch goal where we'll be unlocking Ghost.  I'll also send out another update in the next few days about furhter stretch goals, where we'll be unlocking some handy scenery items.

took the plunge too,

the minis are spot on for what I need them... well the latest green is promising at start I was not so fond of her but the pose is nice and the equipment is what I need, the head... well as much I would have preferred ponytail at start now I think the character she will be used for has no ponytail... (character rewrite!). more ot the point Granger is spot on for the evil LTC Grissom (former USMC now working for a shady private group called the Consortium that has backing from mr.  Putin too!  :D no politics, I just need to use my modern Russians!).
