The cut of the uniform is different (the style and shape), equipment belts are different, and a different rifle too. Hard to say about the colour, every picture of British khaki I have is different to every other, never mind comparing it to the Yanks.

But you are correct, they are very, very similar until you look quite closely.

Well the US had olive drab uniforms for one. that is unless your represanting the US unites in the britsh secter that used tommy kit untell the supply train from the US got up and running.
Then you also have the all blak units that were asinded to the French who had us uniforms but French helments, webing and rifles.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Hmmm. Olive Drab, (like khaki) is a name that really tells you nothing, as so many shades have been given that name. All illustrations I've seen are of a not a million miles away from the various shades of British khaki. I'd really like to see a photo of an original uniform to get a good idea of the true colour.

The uniform color varied anywhere from drab brown to olive brown to mustard brown. Then of course, the marines had forest green when they first came over as well.  Unless they come out for the Americans soon, I will probably use British Trench Raiders and Bombers to stand in until the American versions of those troops come out.

No, these fellas:

Renault Ft-17s.

They should also have had this:

The Mark VIII "Allied", "International" or "Liberty" tank (a joint British-American project). But the war went and finished before any of them saw service.
