How many Aeronef minis do you have?

Hello all well I've been into Aeronef for several years now eventhough I've not played a game so far but that's going to change.

At this moment I have a good number of Aeronef minis numbering over 300 ships but this number will increase by some after my order from Brigade which I just paid for and buying some fleets from some good people the number should be around 400 or more within a few weeks.

So far I have ships for the following Nations:

Great Britain
Germany
Russia
Austro-Hungary
Netherlands
United States
France
Japan
Italy
Turkey
Brazil
Belgium

Now some of the Fleets Great Britain for example is very good in regards to numbers and I only need a few ships to flesh it out.

But some of the Fleets for some of the above Nations I have are maybe a few ships but that's changing.

So please let me know what you have for an Aeronef Collection.

I have about 50 ships in 3 fleets (Germans, Brazilians and Turkish Pirates). The first two are painted, the second plan to by the end of the year.

Are all your fleets painted?

For a good game I don't think you want more than 5-10 or so ships on a side as tracking movement and damage gets problematic.

For my ships I say it's a mix as I have parts of my Fleets painted while other parts aren't.

Case in point my Japanese Fleet which is slightly over 50 ships about 10 ships are painted and the rest are unpainted.

And once I get my order from Brigade in a few weeks then I'm going on a crash course on painting and if all goes well then most of my collection will be painted by the end of this year.

One thing I like about the Aeronef ships is that they're very easy to paint so for example when I got my Turkish Fleet of 14 ships(soon to grow)it took me about a week to fully paint them and all I have to do is put the magnets on for mounting purposes.

Thanks for you advice on numbers of ships per side but it also depends on how many people you have for a game if you have a typical number of 6-8 players then each player might've 3 or 4 ships which isn't bad.

An idea for a game is to have a 3 sided game where you have at least 3 fleets at a minimum but this is a work in progress and the game won't happen until early next year.

Of the tiny variety, proper minis? Probably 20-30, no proper fleets per se. Tend to be whatever I'm calling them as the occasion demands. Unfortunately, play is a VERY rare occasion at that, but there's hope.

Ready to carry other minis? Only a couple, but several gleams in the eye, don't you know.

I've got English and Argentinian fleets, mostly from Brigade but some Wessex, about 18 models in the Argentine fleet and 24ish in the English.  Must get a map of a certain set of islands some time...

I think Mayfair's double game (WWI,Modern) had a map big enough. Maybe you've a friend could help you there?
