Looking for some input on what to make next (SAGA)
« on: September 17, 2014, 01:21:23 PM »
My business partner and I have been devotees to tabletop gaming (pretty much all kinds, but especially miniature) for a long time. However, we were late to arrive at the SAGA party, and we live in a pretty remote place, at least with regards to gaming clubs and the like and SAGA has no real following around here besides us.

Anyway, long story short, we have started a small business making pretty much what we fancy for games we play (mostly terrain and markers/tokens etc), and we have gotten by just sort of gauging interest in what we have made by what folks have requested, so we made sets of measuring sticks with matching fatigue counters for our store, and frankly, we are wondering if there are any glaring holes in factions we have covered, or if there are any you would like to see covered which we have missed.

Here is the list of currently covered factions:
Scots
Steppe Nomads
Anglo-Danes
Saxon
Jomsvikings
Milites Christi
Viking
Saracen
Irish
Crusader
Norman
Welsh

If you are interested in looking yourself, they can be seen in our store: http://krakenskulls.com/product-category/wargaming-2/med-markers/?orderby=price-desc

We did just buy The Crescent and The Cross, but have yet to put together any warbands. How popular are the Moors, the Spanish and the Mulalawwi'a in your circles? I read very little on the internet about anyone really playing these factions.

Any obvious oversights  in obvious missing factions? My small group plays pretty much Vikings, Saxons and Irish at this point, so would love to hear about what is actually really popular in SAGA out there.

Thanks for listening to me prattle on!

We have added a new set of sticks to our store, but they are a bit different than our previous sets.

They are styled after weapons common during the Viking Age, but are further designed to be thinner than our other sticks and bearing a smaller footprint on the table while still keeping some of the flavor and theme of the period.

It should be noted, that the smaller footprint also means less material, and obviously a smaller price tag.

Thanks for looking!

New Acrylic SAGA sticks
« Reply #2 on: September 26, 2014, 06:32:21 PM »
We have had a fair number of requests for acrylic versions of our SAGA stick sets and fatigue tokens, so we decided to offer them. Here are the first four sets we are offering with more to follow.

Anglo-Danes: http://krakenskulls.com/product/anglo-dane-saga-compatible-acrylic-measuring-sticks/
Crusaders:  http://krakenskulls.com/product/crusaders-saga-compatible-acrylic-measuring-sticks/
Saracen: http://krakenskulls.com/product/saracen-saga-compatible-acrylic-measuring-sticks/
Vikings: http://krakenskulls.com/product/viking-saga-compatible-acrylic-measuring-sticks/

Fatigue Tokens: http://krakenskulls.com/product/saga-compatible-acrylic-fatigue-tokens/

The fatigue tokens will be available under this listing, simply by selecting the set you want, which will be added to as we add the new acrylic stick sets in the coming weeks.

Thanks!
