"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I unfortunately have a habit of letting these things slip through.

Such as Fallout.

I luckily have everything together for this. I even purchased FFE's reprint compilation of the main rules, and first four campaign modules.

Just read your thread and hope you'll have loads of fun.

There's an updated version of the rules called Twilight 2013, PDF can be bought here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/58794/T2013-Twilight-2013-Core-Rules
The most important thing in the hobby is that you're having FUN! Doesn't matter if you win or lose.

Update, we now have a Czech 1st Lieutenant as well. He's the Combat Engineer. Vehicles have also been purchased by the team. A BRDM-3, and a 5-ton Cargo truck. I'm allowing the group to add some steel plating to the 5-ton, as well as a .50.

Wish I had some photos to share of the trucks that we slapped steel and kavalar plates to in Afghanistan.

Does anyone know if a 1/72 scale or 20mm model of an M939 exists?

Oops, looks like I cocked up my last post - I meant to say I was unimpressed with Twilight 2013, not T2k  :-X I'm a huge fan of T2k, I have most of the second edition stuff and ran a very long campaign through my last few years of school and college! Still, love what you're doing here, I have ideas for running a game for a British party marooned in Canada and trying to get home, but haven't got very far with it!

I just can't get into the 2nd edition fluff. I'm using modified 1st edition fluff, with Desert Shield/Storm happening, and with Gorbachev dying in a quiet coup.

Interesting idea!

Having picked up some Evil Bear, Spectre and the new Eureka Brits at Salute and over the last while I'm tempted to move the start point to near future (as T2k13...  o_o) and have the Chinese assaulting through Alaska and shattering a British/Canadian battle group on the Canadian/Alaskan border (in a nod to the original set-up)...

UPDATE

First pic of painted models. This is my first time painting 20mm, so please be kind. lol

Also, some last minute planning has been going on, and I need your help.

I want some Marauders in my world to be using some WWII vehicles that were upgunned after being pilfered from the local museum, specifically, a StuG Ausf G. What modern weapons, other than perhaps an MG3, would be put in it? I was thinking maybe 23mm autocannon, or maybe a 30mm.

23mm autocannon would eat up ammo like it is not funny anymore. Why not mount a recoilless rifle on top, some armour plates on the back to protect your gunners, a truck engine in the back instead of the original....just tossing out some ideas.....

Can't say much about the figures untill you light them properly,, and the picture if focussed on the shell behind them, not on the figures. There are some tips on taking pictures somewhere on this forum....
