Monster Mondays! Episode Three: The Floating Fiend

Our latest Monday Monster is an oldie but a goodie.  The Dark Puppeteer is a massive airborne tentacled terror that utilizes the focused power of its gigantic exposed brain to enslave the weak minds of hapless human victims!  More info in the latest Project Update



We also have the prototypes of our Template Set Booster in hand (quite literally), and want to show them off.  There are a few glitches in this sample, but we'll get it all ironed out before final production.

Another Stretch Goal unlocked late last night, thanks to a new Legendary backer taking the first of our custom miniature pledges and causing a bit of a funding surge.  We've now added three free Grubs to both the Beast Booster and Conqueror Worm Booster.  More in the Project Update.

And yes this KS is AMAZING.  Now I want the templates and the puppeteer too (going for the Innsmouth and card sets initially) so I hope I can add these too at some point after the time limit...

Whoa, really really liking the look of the tinted resin, shows the details far better than the white and a bonus to those who may have shied away initially due to the painting factor. With the color tinted resin it will be far easier and more aesthetically appealing to the eye to play with unpainted models. And the new models, especially the cultists, look great. I have all the original cultist models, and while satisfactory enough they were probably the weakest looking of the line, as prominent as they are in the game it's great to see this reworking of them.

Even after subtracting a BG membership from my KS pledge I'll still be having $550 to spend on product so when all is said and done I should be getting the majority of the line if not the entire line of models. Fun times ahead. And as always thanks for sharing these with us.

Those tinted models look a lot better than the pure white ones, now the detail is much more visible.

Lots to report on today.  First and foremost, we've cracked $40,000!  This has unlocked the Flipbook Booster, which contains a pair of pocket-sized quick reference guides (one each for Threshold and Lurkers), plus the PDF edition for handy device-based viewing:




FREE MODEL POLL

We've also wrapped up the Free Model Poll, and the winner (by a landslide) was the Exorcist Special Agent.  We'll be unveiling art for this model on Halloween, and including him free in the packages of all Backers at the Agent level and up (this includes Early Birds).

The second-place finisher was the Flamethrower Cultist, which generated a very positive response among members of the Cult of the Black Goat.  We've therefore elected to get this model sculpted up as well, and will be including it as part of the Black Goat Box (or free to pre-campaign Cultists backing at the Classical Antiquarian level or higher).

THRESHOLD LEGEND PLEDGES

Threshold Legend pledges have received a value boost, and will now include 2 Rulebooks and $1000 of Add-ons rather than the old one-of-everything offer.  This will mean at least an extra $200 worth of goodies for our Legendary backers.  Only four Legend pledges remain: 2 Portraits, 1 Custom Miniature and the epic Ultimate Agent pledge with hand-made custom game board.

250 BACKER BONUS

When we hit 250 backers (only 4 more required to reach this goal), we'll be adding a free copy of the Morbid Adventures PDF to the 1st Edition Rulebook PDF we'll be providing to all Backers at the conclusion of the campaign.  Morbid Adventures provides a wealth of new scenarios, along with rules for the fiendish Necronomicon, and will give everyone plenty to keep them busy in the months between now and 2nd Edition's ship date.

Do you know a link to a description of prior "expansions" etc. Not sure if there is one dedicated thread or site with a list of such things.

I did see this for the lurkers: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=29908.0, but didn't know if there was one for the agents and other resources.
