Wow I just saw this thread. I'm finishing off the last of my Grenadier Orcs and will post pictures in a few days. Great motivation to finish them off.

Cheers

I've got plenty of this kind of orcs myself, old citadel boxes a friend of mine gave me years ago :

Most of them are plastic, and fantasy. This kind of topic may give me motivation to finally paint them !

Ahh, great stuff in this thread. Happy Orctober everyone!

As luck would have it I painted an Orc the other week as an exercise in busting my almost-year-long painting drought.

Not orcs, but goblins from Crooked Claw.

I have more half-finished ones on the painting desk that probably won't be finished before November  :?

Really cool figures !

It motivated me to search in my mess my oldhammer orcs, from Marauder/citadel. I found a lot of them, both plastic and metal, old fashion orcs and gobs, and even a couple of war machines.

I believe I'll build a band for skirmish, with the metal minis only, based on washers, and probably not this monther since I already have plenty of projects in progress. But I could take pics of the bare minis tommorow if any interest ?
