Fantastic building and first class choice of shops to emulate! I loved that show.

Here is the first terrace finished:

I will eventually build the back yards for the terrace, but I need to produce some more buildings first.

Lovely stuff :-*
Looking forward to seeing it all together on a board. How much more are you intending to do?

Once again, thanks for the feedback.  :D

As I've had a few days off work I've managed to get a fair bit done this week.

I finally got around to painting a few miniatures:

Hendons finest!

Watch out! Its the Rozzers!

Come on out, you're surrounded by armed b*st*rds!

Looking forward to seeing it all together on a board. How much more are you intending to do?
Quite a lot! Broken up into 3 stages:

Stage 1: All the buildings so far (Arches, Tube Station, Boozer, 2 Terraces) plus an industrial building, office block, Bank, 3 rows of shops & odds n ends.  Paint the Flying Squad, Blaggers & more civilians. Aiming to complete before the end of March.

Stage 2: A waterfront & large warehouse with assorted clutter (includes two 2'x2' baseboards).
Possibly by the end of March (Depends on work commitments etc).

Stage 3: Open-ended really (Never-ending!?  ::) ). A Post Office, Department Store (I'm free!), block of Flats (You plonker!), Embassy (for CI5 games), scrapyard (Harold!), Nick (Police Station), steps up to top of railway arches, & anything else that crops up.
(If I made all the suggestions from BLAM it will never end!)

Evening all.  ;)

Bobbies in black uniforms, nice! They almost make me think of Heartbeat - but in the 60's the shirts were white, right?

Shirts were white up until the mid 1970s.  The Metropolitan Police (London) changed from white to blue in 1976.

I deliberated over the colour for ages (my excuse for not painting them!) but went with blue to cover the 70s/80s (late The Sweeney - The Professional etc)
