Bobbies in black uniforms, nice! They almost make me think of Heartbeat - but in the 60's the shirts were white, right?
Shirts were white up until the mid 1970s.  The Metropolitan Police (London) changed from white to blue in 1976.

I deliberated over the colour for ages (my excuse for not painting them!) but went with blue to cover the 70s/80s (late The Sweeney - The Professional etc)

I thought so. Nice, anyway!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Your work is outstanding as well as your thread keeping us updated (even thought Sweeny, geezers, rozzers and the like don't mean much to us in the USA. I will have to see if I can find the shows online) But fantastic work none the less. being in law enforcement myself I really liked your police figures and if your still looking for a shop keeper I think Ral Partha made one by Bob Murch of Plulp figure fame in thier old Cuthulu range it was a nice shop keeper sweeping up.

Thanks Overlord,  I was just watching some episodes of the Sweeny on you tube,  not a bad show, but you Brits are crazy(I thought we were the only crazy ones lol )  In the episode I am watching there are hostages in a bank the Chief Inspector tell Regan not to charge in but to give the hostages every chance(I think they were just considered to be Colateral damage if they make it good if not ehh lol)  much like our Dirty Harry.. You just can't pull that crap of now :D

Are you making a bank too if so Check out Coppelstone big bank set.

The second terrace is now fer-fer-fer-finished  :D :

It took alot of messing around but I'm really happy with how the corner shop came out.

@bandit86: The Copplestone bank set has been on my shopping list for some time.  Construction of a bank isnt too far away, I'm just awaiting the arrival of some components.

All you need is the delivery bike propped up outside during the games.

The net curtains are printed out from photographs. They are cut to size & glued into the window recess.  Next a piece of clear plastic as the glass. I then edge it with thin plastic strip for the frame.  All the windows in the terraces are done like this, some with net curtains, others left plain.

Arkwrights shop windows are a composite of several bits: photo of a shop window, scaled posters/advertising, odds n ends in various (small) fonts.  All put together before the window is glazed.  The shop door window is the one from the series.

The backs of the buildings are already shown above. Like this:

Glad you like them.  :D

Superlative gur-ga-gur-ga-gur-granville...

(Although I am struggling just a bit, to reconcile those rock-hard cockney geezers Regan and Carter and their testosterone-fuelled adventures in violence, with a small Northern corner shop and nurse Gladys Emmanuel!  lol)
