Excellent work Michael  8) 8) 8)

Incredibly tempting to do something like this myself  :)

What he said.

And I already started perusing my bits boxes for parts :)

Lovely work,
You've shamed me into dusting off my own airship and finishing it.(I've been finding lots of projects to hide in rather than finish it.As I had no idea where to sort. But I'll worry about that when I've finished.)
Looking forward to seeing some colour on it .
Mark.

Repeating from another thread on scratch Aeronefs...

@FramFram: Beautiful work, isn't it? It's one of my main inspirations!

HOW DID I MISS THIS!!!

I can only claim it was because it was never linked to the sticky!

*ahem* REALLY impressive, I must say. I've some of the Hasagawa sets bought for spaceships, but many parts are so much more appropriate used like this.

My own madness extends to the frustration of seeing so little of the book cover and title. What IS it?

Thanks SO much!

Doug

Edit: Okay, sorted out, but still think it should be on the VSF>Aeronef+ sticky...

By the way Admiral, I forgot to ask: How did you do the rim around the deck? I'm referring to the black band. Is that a strip of heavy paper reinforced with glue? Plastic? Doubled-up tape? Putty?

It's a small strip of very thin black polystyrene. Don't know why it's black, I bought it years ago in a set of styrene sheets of dîfferent thicknesses.

I'm currently working on some other projects to get more miniatures prepared for undercoating using my airbrush. It's not worth the effort to get all the airbrush equipment ready for just one small model.
