Weird trees made from pine cones
« on: 29 November 2014, 10:37:59 AM »
I tried a nice easy method to make some bushes or little trees. I stumbled across this nice post for this method: http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t6941-jungle-tree..

First, collect some pine cones.

Clip down the cones. I used parts of some kind of easter decoration for the twigs and branches.

Some dropws of glue, done. No painting required.

Too old to Rock'n'Roll, too young to die, perfect for tabletop adventures;)

Thanks for sharing - I have been struggling to think of how I was going to do something similar with a bag of plastic leaves I have.

It's a nice Idea, James if you spray the plastic plant parts with matt varnish the add a little contrasting colour as a shade. You'll get rid of that fish tank feeling that itches at the back of your head lol.
It's good idea that I'm going to pinch lol But I think I'll be killing Those dodgy palm tree's I Picked up at Partizan (curse you mobile bar and sunshine!)it should make some interesting fern's instead.

Don't forget the mould lines. They'd need scraping off as well  lol
