I need some help I have alot of 15mm Samurai
figures and I would like to sell them but I need some
advice onto how to proceed.

Here's what I have:

Painted Samurai
Foot x237
Mounted x78

Painted Monks
Foot x108
Mounted x4

Painted Ashigaru x577

Painted Peasants x48

In addition I also have 3 Cannon w/crew and 25
asst figures like banner carriers etc.

And I have around 300 Unpainted Samurai,Monks
Ashigaru.

All told there's 970 foot figures and 82
mounted figures(all painted)plus the 2 Cannon
and the 25 asst figures and then around 300
unpainted figures as well.

Now I don't know what to ask for the Unpainted
figures so maybe someone can help me out.

I'm asking this first here before I place them on
ebay.

The big question is do I sell them in one big lot or
do I sell them in several lots.

Plus if anyone here would like to buy all of them I'll
entertain offers as well.

So please help me out.

Thanks
Michael

I think that all depends on whether you are in a hurry or not: a single lot means far less complications, but it will likely require a bit of time.

It would be great to have several photos for your thousand, too :)

I've moved this here until you are ready to sell, then by all means place a sales thread in the bazaar.

Pictures will be taken this week then I'll post them on Photobucket and put the link here so all can see my Painted Samurai.

Also worth listing what makes they are, and if based, what basing scheme they are on.

Are the unpainted based or undercoated?

Okay here's the link to see my Samurai pictures on Photobucket please forgive the quality of many of the pictures I'm not an expert at taking these types of pictures http://s394.photobucket.com/user/Gideon_03/library/15mm%20Samurai%20Figures?sort=3&page=1

As for the Painted figures they're a mix of the following makers:

Two Dragons
Old Glory
Naismith
Minifigs

And for the basing scheme I can't tell you the size of the bases as I'm bad with a tape measure so forgive me for that the bulk of the painted figures are based but there's a small number of unbased figures.

As for the unpainted Samurai figures it's a mix of bare metal and primed either white or grey.

On the basing, I was thinking of are they based for a specific ruleset as much as what size bases are they?
WRG/DBM/Impetus etc

The ruleset I was using was Killer Katanas II and it was a pretty decent set of rules.

without pictures it's a bit of a 'pig in a poke'
you're painting maybe awesome and worth an easy $1 or $2/figure.... or it might be rubbish and actually devalue the lead.

to sell the lot I think a $1/fig is a good price (assuming they are decently done), you might get more per figure if you sell them by clans or something.
