These past few months I have been turning out WWI Germans like some well oiled piece of Teutonic machinery. With over 100 Bosche finished it's now time to take a more Laissez Faire attitude, spark up a Gauloises and make a start on some Poilu.

Actually, I've not smoked for ten years and am not about to start again.

Those spiffing chaps at Gripping Beast did me a Salute pre-order and last weekend I was filing and sticking them together.

With the long Bank Holiday weekend I managed to get eighteen completed and another half dozen are coming along nicely.

That's a fantastic Horizon Blue you have there.

I'd love to get in a game against you at some point, I wish I lived closer.

Thanks chaps, Cessna, where are you? I do get to travel quite a bit.

I've added another eighteen Frenchmen to the force, this time I also added some Chasseurs and a simple conversion for a sniper.

Of course, loads more images over on Scrivsland

Denver, Colorado, USA; that's probably a bit far for a game...!

Could be a struggle at the moment, but if plans go ahead I may be only 3 states (ok half a continent) away this time next year :)

We Coloradoans are used to long-distances. XD

Seriously, maybe we can all make something happen, Great War-wise.

Any on out west should be used yo long distances.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Roger that. :) I have friends on the East Coast that can't even comprehend traveling in the West. :)

We should figure out how to do a big WWI game - or several - in a central location, especially as it is the centenary. Perhaps we could stage a specific battle. Maybe Jun 1, 2016...?

I'll start digging the trenches in my back yard.

(I'm sure my wife wouldn't object.)
