Facehugger attack
« on: January 19, 2015, 12:07:38 AM »

Just finished this old 25mm piece from Leading Edge's Colonists' Last Stand set. Fairly happy with how it turned out, but especially happy that I got such an old mini (1992) finished. The world has changed a lot since then! Feedback welcome as usual.

Nice work.  Very nostalgic about that particular sculpt.  Very first Alien piece I ever painted, done as a gift to superfan friend of the movies.

Being a huge fan of those movies, I love this.  Great work.

I got this mini, too. Inspiring. Might dig out mine to finally paint it as well.  :D

Great paintjob - actually a mini-diorama!

The Facehugger, the easter egg and the base itself (I always seem to botch black colour... I either get the lights too strong or unapreciable)

The palette is bang on, really suggestive of the franchise.  It looks great.  I would love to get my hands one of those models.

The pose reminds me of this.
