It took me a little while to find the book, but here's a link to the album.

There's about twelve scans there of 3 different house types.

That is really useful!  Thanks so much for sharing!

Here's the second house:

While I'm not completely happy with this one (I think the upper roof looks a bit off), I think it will look ok once I get it mixed in with more buildings.

More photos on the blog if you're interested:

Looking good. I can see what you mean about the roof - if it really does look top heavy in the group later on, I guess you could easily (as it's not attached) build a new one.

Looking at the pics again, maybe have the top dollar windows closer to the roof?  Most of the real houses look that way. But that aside, stunning work. Well done sir!

It's a remarkable piece and looks the business. All it might need is some of the wooden clutter that seems to feature in photos of these sorts of buildings...

Thanks for the feedback and ideas everyone!  I'm still experimenting as I work on this project, so it's helpful to hear everyone's thoughts.

You might try replacing the stone wall on the roof with firewood. Just leave the stone corners in place and cords of firewood in between.

Finally something new to add to the village project:

It's not huge, but will fit in the modular hillside I'm planning.  Construction photos can be found on the blog:

Thanks!

I've stayed in a very similar temple in Sherpaland. The windows were a lot smaller though!  :)
