My Painted fantasy minis hodgepodge
« on: 25 January 2015, 03:16:44 PM »
I'm going to use this thread to post up my painted fantasy stuff, it'll mostly be for warhammer
fantasy but will also include role playing figs and assorted fantasy gubbins

First up are a unit of Ostland  cavalry. GW fantasy empire Knights, the chap I painted them for
has an all Ostland army, he converted the crests to have the bull symbol.

Splendid work!

For my taste the black could be a bit blacker, but these are excellent.   :D

Awesome. Beautiful and brutal looking at the same time.

Both really well done units. I especially like the knights though.

Those dwarves are excellent.  There's a lot of freehand knotwork in there eh?  Very nice indeed.   :D

The Vertically Challenged Ones are a FINE addition; BEAUTIFULLY painted & based. The dark colors suit the subjects SPLENDIDLY. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks very much for the kind words.

This is the other side of the Knights, the owner magnetised the arms on the command so they
can be replaced with lances if he isn't using full command.

Thanks Jevenkah,

I finished 11 more of the Ostland charging Bulls Knights.
Weather here has been awful all day so had to take the photo on my desk under the painting
lamp which seems to make everything a bit 'contrasty' anyway....

That is quite an impressive unit. Despite the worst your work lamp could do, the Knights look WONDERFUL. GREAT WORK!

Really liking both units but as a stuntie lover the dwarf hammerers are just calling out to me. So love the new models and you have done them justice with your brush strokes. Cant wait to see more.
