Mexican Bandidos
« on: 17 September 2008, 07:55:04 AM »
Hi there!

I am new to this forum and want to post some pictures of my latest "mexican bandidos"  ;)

Hopefully you will like them ...

Greets

(I know the photos are not very good but I am still learning ... they are all a little to dark and the figures in reality look brighter.)

Excellent. Is the first one based on Tuco? 8)

Those are pretty nice. Who does them? I'd like the one with the dropped sombrero for my own collection.

Thank you all  :) :) :)

@ twrchtrwyth:
Yes, you are right. This guy is from Foundry and is called Tuco. I love this figure because the outfit, the gesture and the face are excellently designed ... unfortunately the details on the picture are not very high, especially in the face where you normally should see some crinkles ... he looks really "worn"  ;)

@ Bako Ikaporamee:
The other figures are all from Artizan (Banditos I + II) and are even better than the Foundry ones (in my opinion). They are slightly larger than the Foundry figures but the detail on these guys is unreached. The one with the dropped sombrero was also my favorite especially when painting the muffler around his neck and back (you will have fun with it  :D )

I will soon send three other photos with the Artizan Hired Guns II figures ... they are finished now ...

I think they look splendid in the pics! Mind you, if you look at how they'd look in a movie, they should not be too brightly coloured, as dust and dirt would mute down the colours of the clothing.

@ Argonor:

Thanks for the nice compliments ... I think "bright" was the wrong word I used. They do not look brighter in the way that the colours are brighter or more brilliant. I am just not really satisfied with the look of the photos ... they are to "dark" if you compare them to the photos from witchhunter.net or twfigurines.de ... (probably it is good this way because otherwise you would see the errors on the figs more easily  ;) )

At the moment I am working on my western town with several mexican buildings and some facilities for wood cutting etc. Hopefully when it is finished the photos will get better with the surrounding terrain  ;)
