Excellent read for the AAR. The pictures of the terrain and figures were also nice to see. Well done...now if I could manage some time to get my own figures painted. I will also have to get the rule set as I have yet to find something that I like. Thanks for the article.

Sounds like a good one Giles. I hope The Shed is warming up? What mechanics does Lion Rampant use for longbow fire?

In picture 15 there is a walled manor with crenellated gate and tower. Where is that from, please?

Great table and LR is now on my list of wants.
Cheers,

Great report Giles.

Interestingly some rather nice Wars of the Roses figure seem to have strayed 350 years into early 12th century England... I'm surprised you allow such things in the Shed...  >:D  ;)

Snap;...but when you have 5 guys wanting to roll dice in the Shed you sometimes have to break the rules...a victim of my own success

talking of which does Juan want to make an appearance after his Germany trip

Funny, last saturday we oldhammered a little bit with Welf VIII. and Njetkulturny(Alexander). We talked about Lion Rampant and left with the question, if it is really good for gaming. Is it???
