Nice build. The carcasses and curtain look spot-on.  8)

Thanks Paul. I still have a lot to do on it. Maybe I should have gone with something smaller!

The walls are meant to be done with a cement render. The panel is for signage. I need to tidy up some of the edges.

Windows in (temporarily) and base coat on the exterior. Just the toilet and lobby to texture, the doors, the meat racks, the blowers and evaporators and tge painting to do.   :-X

Only just picked up on the post now, but sterling work all around Steve. Great subject choice as it will work with a multitude of genres and should have a nice freak-out effect on players! Can't wait to see it fully completed.

Thanks guys. It's stalled at the moment thanks to dealing with a toddler with chickenpox. Last time I entered the Build Something contest he ended up in hospital so at least he's decreased the severity this time round. Come to think of it he got hand, foot and mouth two BLAMs ago too. Perhaps he's allergic to me gaming?

Thanks Niall. It's primarily a key location for my modern imagi-nation but it'd be great for zombie games too.

Well there's something to look forward to Niall!

I tried to sort the doors out last night but I can't quite get them how I want them. I've seen sliding doors on a cold store photo that I'd like to emulate and I'd like to have them working. I think i need to get the base glued on first though in order to create some form of track to the bottom of the doors. I need to have the inside at least basecoated white before I glue it down though. I think I'd also prefer an mdf base to a ply base to help with the illusion of concrete.

I have officially ground to a halt. I want 3mm mdf for the base so I can get on with the painting but every DIY place near me is out of stock. I tried ply but it doesn't give the smooth look of mdf that's great for simulating float finished concrete. I've left it too late for mail order, I just thought I'd walk in and pick some up. #obviously paying for it too). Bugger  :-[

Will an A4 sheet do you?

I could post it later and it should reach you by Thursday.

Thanks mate, but it's too big for A4. I had thought about just using a 2mm plasticard but that would have to be joined too. The annoying thing is I've seen loads of the stuff before but never bought any because I didn't need any at the time (I know, it's not the wargamer's way!) and I thought if I did need any it'd be there.

There's a place near work I can try tomorrow if I can get out.
