Footsore Dark Age releases
« on: 03 February 2015, 12:31:23 PM »
Hi All

We've just released some new archers for the late Saxons. There are 12 variants altogether and they are available now in the webstore. http://footsoreminiatures.co.uk/collections/28mm-late-saxons

Painted by Charles Baynon.

Cheers

Bill

I really like those.

But, istm, if you're doing 12 unique poses then it is a shame not to offer those 12 as a set, instead of bunches of random poses. It's not such an issue when you have to fill a large army, but when there are a few popular games around now that specifically require bands of 12, it's a bit of a shame.

I make everything for me. The fact you chaps get to buy them is secondary to their creation. Kinda ;)  lol

I need to ask: what brand and what colors of paint are being used for the shirts and trousers?  They look fantastic.

Bill, if you're reading this, I'm going to be very naughty and ask again when the unit deals will be available here in the UK?

They're such beautiful miniatures. I've just finished painting a unit of your Late Romans/Justinians/Early Byzantines to wargames standard and they've come out so well that folk don't seem to believe that they are wargames standard, I suspect the same will be for your Late Saxons!

It's only a year away to Salute so I've got masses of painting to do for the Hastings game (well, just over- and I may have to out the game on at Partizan if Salute is not on next year- just a rumour I hope!)
