Cheers mate! Interestingly enough 'cheers mate' came up as 'cheesemaker' when I forgot to put the space in.

That is very useful information.

Inquisitor Monteufal and his Retinue.... (RT/-I-Munda Project) UD:10/12
« Reply #199 on: December 10, 2015, 02:05:26 PM »
AS mentioned earlier in the thread, we have managed to actually use some of these figures in a campaign of Inquisimunda.

The first game involved Legionnaire Bert and his Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor Henrik Monteufel.
Monteufal is on the trail of the Arch Heretic Klaus Konrad Krakowitz the Blasphemous Bombast of Bull-Shatt.

Tracking him down to the frontier world of Upsheet II, an arid world comprising of small mining colonies scattered around it's various deserts, he managed to catch a picture of the Bombast on one of the scanner-bots which showed him heading into an elongated valley bordered by low hills and craggy buttes aboard a landspeeder .

This area is generally known to be controlled by a local band of smugglers, but the Inquisitor was not going to worry about them.
He immediately assembled his band of retainers and made his way out there.

Here is a pictograph of the group before they set out, taken by one of the servitors on board Monteufel's ship, the Saucy Nancy....

L-R: Derren Blaine (Unsanctioned Psyker), Draper (Escaped Pit Slave), Inquisitor Monteufal, Langlais (Sniper/Scout), Petit Jean (Warrior/Scout), Eagle Eye (Warrior/Scout),  Everard Rowdi (Interrogator).

Whoa! I missed that in the background! That's rather surreal, it was in my cabinate only a few weeks ago ;) looking good Paul, and I can see why you need to rebase it.

Cheers
Matt

Cheers Mason. I have really enjoyed our two games thus far (the fact that I've contrived to win both is mere coincidence!).

I like the Inquisitor semi-RPG feel I-Munda brings.

Must pull my finger out and paint up my own models for Inquisitor Monteufel's warband. Not that I mind using yours, just that I feel like a bit of a fake for doing so! Christmas is coming, so I will have time to get stuck into that one. I think I've got a decent set, although some of yours have more character than mine, but at least I'll have my own models. I feel it's the least I can do!

Looking forward to the next installment of our games.

Bert

No pressure to get your own figures painted, mate.
I dont mind if you use mine.
I am enjoying putting together the RT stuff for this and like to see them get some table time.

As for the who makes the Scouts: I do.
There is a shot of one of the greens on pg 7 of this thread.
If you are interested in a set just send me a PM, I have a few left.

I was more curious mason,as never seen them before,I  prefer them to most of the rat skin scuplts,
Do you have plans on adding to the range, they could appeal to someone wanting sci fi native Americans as well?
As only other ones I've seen are westwinds crow dogs .

Great Inquisitorial retinue Mason - a good mix of hangers-on and guns for hire!

There's a nice synergy with your Inquisitor and his ratskin scouts which gives a Western feel - ideal for RT!

A rather fitting comment really as the second game involving Inquisitor Monteufal utilised a fair bit of my Old West scenery....

The second game featured a raid on a smugglers camp in order to get the recorder from a landspeeder that the smugglers kept in the yard and used for local patrols.

The speeder in question....

The Imperial agent and his team would have to recover the information that they needed from under the noses of the smugglers in question.

Meet the DR:PEPA twins......

(Durrilium Recognition:Prospective Evaluation Probe Apparatus).

Used for locating suitable areas for prospective mining works, they operate in pairs sinking probes into a deep bore hole (a process known as 'laying an egg' by their operators) and relaying the information gathered to each other to determine the exact size and location of Durrilium deposits to establish if it is worth the expense of deep tunnel mining in the area.
Particularly effective on Upsheet II where the deposits of Durrilium are abundant but often so small as to make tunneling most expensive.
