Amateur Commemoration of Agincourt - MAA
« on: March 02, 2015, 11:17:01 AM »
These are the first miniatures that I have painted in about 8 years, I'm working on a fairly limited colour pallet but I am pretty happy with how they turned out, it's been fun getting back into the hobby and this forum has been great at keeping me inspired and interested, so thank you all for that!

The models are part of a Lion Rampant retinue that I will slowly be painting for the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt and there's more information on my blog if anyone is interested.

They've come on nicely, well done.

Come the 600th Annivesary I shall wander down to the channel coast and commemorate by giving the traditional gesture of the archer in the direction of France.  ;)

You should feel sorry for them,  after all they really are just another former British colony  :D

I like them lots! Who are they made by?

Thank you all for the positive comments, I've seen the work of most of you and its high praise that you like what I've done.

I am currently working on a couple of archers to see what I can do with them so I will update this thread accordingly once I have pictures.

Here are the first two archers of my test batch, not sure how I feel about them because I really don't like painting flesh and faces but from an arms length they don't look too bad.
