2nd Antequera Volunteer Light Infantry
« on: 09 March 2015, 11:05:38 AM »
Hi all,

I have just completed the fourth battalion in General Portago's 3rd Division at Talavera.

The Antequeran Light Infantry had been in two defeats at Valls in February 1809 and Medellin in the following March so had certainly been tested by the time of Talavera. They were obviously a resilient unit and were still in the Spanish order of battle in 1814 at the end of the war.
