I got to play this game and it was stunning.
I think I may have been a bit more blood thirsty.
My family started off slow and steady but when the wolves arrived behind us it was time to get busy.

 My family managed to catch and slow down an elder from another tribe which allowed my family to reach the donga which we managed to get through before any of the nasties arrived.








 We had a running stone throwing fight with the other tribe until they met some nasties at a cave entrance we decided to try a different one





This is the wee beastie my lot met and as the wife wanted a new fur coat we thought we just kill it!
But we took to long to get out the cave

I did consider it, Michael...
Indeed Westfalia Chris and I were discussing possible routes...
Van from London - Hamburg... Quite a long, difficult and expensive journey by road, sea and road, whichever route one takes...
Whereas the airfare is dirt cheap and flight time is 90 minutes...

It would probably be easier for some talented German to recreate the game board in its entirety...
Then I'd just need to bring the figures, rules and scenario...

Actually having a German creating a slightly different layout and keeping it a secret to really mess with you all would be the way to go.

Nah, it's generating quite a buzz in these august, ancient halls, so we'll keep it here.

Seriously, very good show, Captain. Please bring at least some of the minis over to Hamburg, there's certainly room for some best-practice showcase pieces. Hats off to you!

As Michael suggests Richard, it would be great to the game see here in germany. Maybe it would be cheaper if you could get group of BLAM'ers together in a minibus and present a couple of games at Tactica.
When i see games with large terrain pieces i usually think "yeah, nice, takes up too much room. Prefer it in 15mm" (as i have very little space at home) but i am seriously jealous of this table!!!! Would really love to game on it.

I really REALLY love this thread!    Such a fantastic concept, beautifully executed with amazing minis -  so cool.  I think the prehistoric era has so much gaming potential but is sadly often neglected.  Would be nice to see some more Neanderthals (Lucid eyes are a great new addition) and early hominid miniatures come out.  HLBS used to make a set of 5 Homo Erectus type figures . . . Well done!
