Achtung Cthulhu figs-How do they scale?
« on: 18 March 2015, 11:48:40 PM »
Hi,
I've been looking at getting a pack of the Achtung Cthulhu miniatures- Black Sun Villains, and wondered how they scale up with other Pulp ranges? They are advertised as 28mm but wondered if anyone had any comparison pics?

Cheers

I've taken comparison pics of the Nachtwölfe from the same range. I hope this helps :)

From left to right:
Black Tree Historical Personality  -  Force Master  -  Copplestone Evil Genius  -  Stalker

Artizan Sturmbattaillon Zorn  -  Force Master  -  Hasslefree Grant  -  Stalker

I really like some of theses minis & have the Black Sun set; height-wise they're ok, but they are more realisticaly proportioned, (noticeably thinner & more akin to the old Darkson Designs (think someone else owns them now) AEWWII range) than most producers of pulp & WWII stuff.

I can only second the comment of Ballardian.
Size is OK, but heads, hands and weapons are smaller when compared to BA or Artizan.

They work very well with the Perry plastics, so some Cthulhu grave digging in Egypt is doable...  ;) ;)
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de
