Definitely better! 

The colours, highlights (and small details  ) pop much more now.

If you allow the backdrop to curve up a bit further to the back, you'll also minimize the shadows behind the minis (although more lamps do more to that end).

Thanks for the comments guys. They are much appreciated. I have more painted now so will try and get the next unit photographed and displayed.
