Most of the pics of models I've seen have round bases - is the game base-specific, or would models on square bases do as well?
And is the base size relevant?
 ???

Generally round bases are a lot better for skirmish games (where the models are not in formation).
If you have square bases and melee is defined by base contact you have to define what 'base contact' is, and it becomes trickier to judge. As is measuring.
With round bases there are no such difficulties.

Base sizes tend to be more forgivin, as long as all are the same size. Combining different sizes means that some are better at outnumbering (and harder to outnumber), and moving in terrain.

In friendly games these things should not really be a problem.

Thanks. That was what I thought too.
Cheers. :D

You'll get a code and a link. If it doesn't arrive (like it hasn't to a few people) just send northstar an email and they'll sort it out for you.

How long after ordering can you expect this ? I've placed my order yesterday morning and have yet to receive it - could the weekend be the reason ? BTW - I didn't even get an order confirmation.
I like my games like my orange juice: pulpy with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners

Mine came in almost directly. Spam folder, just in case?

It's not in the spam folder. I'll try to contact Northstar to try to figure out what went wrong. Thanks for the feedback.

Mine didn't arrive so I waited a couple of days and then emailed. It should have been the same time I believe. I didn't get a receipt either. Not in my junk either.

The weekend will play a part. The orders are manually confirmed so someone actually has to send out the confirmation e-mail. I would have thought that anything ordered Friday won't see a confirmation notice until next week.  :D

Set up is done for the Frostgrave game at Partizan. I've taken some pics, unfortunately there's no data connection here so they'll have to wait until I get home this evening, sorry.
So many projects..... so little time.......
