Just because I felt in a good mood, I've decided to finish a model that had been gathering dust half painted for a year. It actually was just an evening away from being finished so even though it's not exactly the best job, it's done and removes a bit of guilt !

Aha, I may be but the brightest flames burn quickest ! (not that I'm really bright btw)

Now just because our very own Mason is a lovely chap, I was able to get a copy of his Barnacle Ben to add to my scavvy gang. I've tried to paint it right away (and have actually succeeded). Since the paint scheme was still fresh in my mind, it was easy to replicate it on this (not so) little guy and add a tough nut to the crew.

The usual info about the model can be found in the associated blogpost HERE and you could do far worse than check his ongoing kickstarter and treat yourself with one of the nice minis there.
I'll take scenic shots with the whole gang as soon as I can because that's where models really shine !

Wonderful colour choices, I love a muted palette.

He is exactly as I hoped to paint one myself, only much better, of course.

That was quick!
Both of them painted already.

A great bit of brushmanship, as usual, on that Young Noif.
I had not considered them with grey skin and it works really well.

I guess that you had better have the chance to paint the rest of the 'herd' when they are ready.
