BoB signs for vehicles
« on: October 08, 2008, 01:22:37 AM »
Hi

I've got some Diecast cars, vans and trucks but they look a bit plain without any writing or signs on them. Any suggestions for signs/slogans? I want to keep them generic so that I can use them for different sides/forces.

Cheers
Kieran

Hey Kieran

I wish I could help.

If you will use them for different sides/forces ,forgett the signs/slogans  :(
For my neutral cars I use a lot of baggage that is maby the better way or buy more cars and make some cars for every army you have ( I do that too)

Transfers would be a great idea.

Are there any figure companies that produce drivers for these vehicles?

Yes it will be interesting to find some drivers as well.

Another question: which diecasts you have?

Good suggestions everyone. I'll do a mix of bagagge and I'll make up some signs.

My diecasts are all the Matchbox/Lledo modwls of yesteryear I picked up cheap on our local version of ebay for $2NZ each. I'm still trying to get one of their steam engines but they always got for a lot of money.

Try Black Lion Decals in Holland.  They're 1/72, (as are most of these vehicles) but good quality.  They cover Whites, Reds, Poles, Brits, etc.  Good service too.
