I'm pleased with them, this is the Vallejo Luftwaffe Uniform layered over the blue. I'm glad I got the opinions of people here, I think they will look much better now.

Hi Elizabeth, he served before and during the First World War , I have his service number and medals. My paternal grandfather served in the Royal Inniskilling Dragoons, another famous regiment. What rules are you using for the Colonial period ?

Hi, that's really interesting about your ancestors.

I have "Black Powder" so far, and the "Zulu!" supplement, for big battles.

I'm thinking of getting TSATF, but I'm not sure yet.

Yes, my group are very fond of Black Powder, I think they,d work well for the colonial period although I d,ont like them for Napoleonic,s. I,m slowly building up an A.W. Independance army ( Revolution) on your side of the pond , and we,ll use B.P. for it. Look forward to your future posts, good luck with the project.

for me she is so brillant (in french ''neuve brillante"), may be a little black ink shade an some little métal gun brush => look my beja rifle men for idea or inspiration.

That's a good idea, I think I will tone them down a bit with washes.

No need to apologize, this is why I'm posting them, to get feedback.

I used Vallejo Model Air Steel, and it is *very* shiny.

That blue looks so much better now. If i can make a suggestion? Paint the bayonet the same colour as the metal on the rifle then give it a light drybrushing of silver... mostly towards the pointy end. I recon the whole unit will then look top notch

Lately, I've been doing 1 R.I.F., one KRRC, one '44 Commando, and one Supers or what-not.

Making progress and not getting bogged down and bored.
