Ruined City
« on: 06 May 2015, 07:42:36 PM »
Hello,

Part of our new Sci Fi skirmish game project involved me building a city to play in. I thought I would share what I have managed to come up with.

Hope you like it

It looks like you'll have some great games on that board. Nice work.

Very evocative and flexible; you certainly gave plenty of areas for action in the 3D.

Have you given thought to possible flat/mostly flat tiles to put in between? You could properly just separate the ones you have on a mat, but a little debris and paving would add a lot for spaces between, and tile edges will match up so well.

Just a thought.

You WILL have AAR's, right-o?

Hey Doug,

I have 5' by 4' left of the ply wood they made me buy at the wood yard. I have plans for strips of road, scatter terrain (barriers and the like) and gantries if I can find textured plasticard. We are looking at running something very close to Necromunda.

I am hoping to get some great games on these boards. I will get some more done on them to add some detail to the building.

Cheers

If you DON'T have great games, sure can't blame the terrain!  lol

Great looking board. Would totally like to play some inquisitor games.

Nicely done indeed. Sets a good scene.

Good terrain a few scoundrels and cutthroats sounds like good times to me.

Great games come from great people doing what they love - in fact great everythings come from that.

I think I only have the Space Marine left from Inquisitor

I will try and engineer a game really soon to show how it plays!

Thank you gentlemen I am overwhelmed by the support!

Awesome!  Makes we ant to paint up a 28mm skirmish force and roll some dice!
