OGAM god/legend help
« on: May 14, 2015, 07:04:38 PM »
I was wondering if anyone had a good source for a figure to use as Hel for my norse. I'm also after a big wolf for fenrir and some normal wolves for .. would you believe it wolves. I like wolves to look aggressive and moses of what I've seen look like over sized pups.

Would really appreciate any help you guys could give.

Check out the HeroClix Fenris if you haven't seen him already.  He looks rather aggressive to me.

They are big, but hey - they should be big!

i like them, but GW are too expensive for me. Especially if you need only one BIG wolfy....  ;).
May be a LOTR Warg (Hobbit generation) ?

Agree that GW are on the pricey end but when it's exactly what you want you pay a little more  :)

Funny you are looking for a decent "Hel" mini as I was looking for ages!!!
I settled on a converting a 54mm mini from War Griffon miniatures. My WIP is at the bottom of this page:

If you don't want to go so big, this one might work with some conversion work ( replace sword with staff and put some wings on the helmet.....   )

For a large wolf have you looked at Reaper Miniatures?
