Bloodbowl - scratching the itch
« on: May 27, 2015, 09:05:14 AM »
It is a truth universally acknowledged that any gamer of a certain age will, at some point, find themselves in want of a copy of Bloodbowl again. So it was with me. I managed to buy a copy, but the figures therein were already painted.

So I stripped them (details here http://critfailure.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/stripperiffic.html) and finally finished painting them today.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I proudly present by as yet unnamed Bloobowl team

Nice stuff.

Can I recommend you edit the width of your blog? The menu on the RHS is blocking the images.

A good solid team, and a brilliant paint job.

Best of luck on the pitch.

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Excellent work! I've never played Bloodbowl, but it does have an attraction: some of those old minis were great.

Thanks chaps. I was quite surprised at how much character the fairly crude single piece plastics had.

Great looking teams.  Pretty close to the classic gouged eye and reavers schemes and very nicely done and would look amazing squaring off against one another.  Your groundwork is excellent.  I like how you broke up the flock with clump grass; It looks very natural.  Pics like yours make me feel guilty I've been neglecting my Blood Bowl project.
