Painting Scaly Beasts
« on: 29 May 2015, 12:51:40 AM »
For a while I've been posting some basic step-by-step photos of painted minis but did not have the time to do a proper tutorial that was actually coherent and had more info about the paints and brushes used. Finally, the painting guide is done as a PDF and will be printed soon. It was a reward for the Rise of the Draconids kickstarter and is really just focused on painting big monsters with lots of texture. The guide can be purchased in the AntiMatter Games store.

I remember folks here asking for the tutorial for the Dire Fish Lizard, which I never got a chance to write up before, but that is in here now.

I got the pdf from the Kickstarter yesterday, some really good bits of advice in there, with a really nice format!  Well worth the $5 if you ask me!

Looks like a good investment - your painting is always amazing!

And... downloaded.  Looks very useful, with a lot of description of colours, glazing, brush technique.
