Hi guys, have finished these Selous Scouts from Eureka Miniatures on commission, this is the first time I have painted anything from the Rhodesian wars, and it was a lot of fun, I now have a new interest in that conflict, the figures themselves are brilliant, I couldn't recommend them more, all comments welcome.

That kneeling figure embodies their very name.

Beautifully painted.

I think you'll find figures were designed to represent the Rhodesian Light Infantry rather than Selous Scouts. The Selous Scouts were racially mixed with most of the ORs being African, mostly 'turned' guerillas. So if you have been commissioned to portray that unit you might want to rethink figure selection and skin tones. The white members of the unit tended to darken their skin when on operations and were as often as not heavily bearded.

Indeed. These miniatures look very good. And yes from what i have read (Paul Els, We fear naught but God, The story of the South African Special Forces) it was quite a diverse bunch, racially and otherwise. ;-)

Hi Guys, some more 28mm modern Aussies finished on commissions, these are Skirmish Sangin figures, pretty nice figures, the metal is a little soft and the Styers barrels are easily bent, I like these a little more than the Empress miniatures Aussies, but they are both nice.

Hi guys

Finished 2 Aussie Bushmasters on commission, these are resin models, not a big fan of resin, these were so so, a few bubbles and some warped areas, good as wargaming models, all comments welcome.

Hi guys

Some Taliban insurgents finished on commission, not sure who makes them, a couple of different companies I believe, but they have a lot of character, all comments welcome.
