Yep - I'd say that did the trick.  Beautiful work.

Did a double-take on the first outdoor shot. Really well done.  :-*

When scrolling down and you only see the upper part of the pic, it takes a while to realise you are not watching at a reference pic, but the real thing. I think that says it all. :o

This is breathtaking! :-*
Your weathering is perfect, I'd say.

I guess that even the folks at Uncertain Scenery didn't think their dish could look that good...

What everyone else has said: fantastic.

That's the great thing about this forum: there's always someone several steps ahead to give me something to aim for... one day.

Great photos of a great paint job :-* :-* :-* :-*
You almost don't notice it is MDF
I thought you were based in Europe or UK but with that sunshine I must have been wrong?

Thanks for the very kind comments all. The MDF was an interesting challenge but I think I have the hang of it now, which is good because I’ve got quite a lot more of it.

Gamer Mac that’s SW England for you. Occasionally has a lovely burst of sunshine. I have to wait months for a shot like that!

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway

A couple more Lady Scrapper vehicles.

The Ram - another salvage site clearance specialist vehicle like the Tug, designed to just batter stuff out of the way and create access along wreck strewn roads. Fuel consumption ain't great but driver satisfaction is high.

The Pug - a multipurpose, carry-stuff wagon

Ram by Ramshackle games and the Pug is Daemonscape, with Crooked Dice stowage and Zinge wheels.

Both are great, but I'm particularly in love with the Ram :-*

Re: Junktown Scrapyard Crew - Update - Airfield Radar

Second of two radars. This one is also from Uncertain Scenery, sitting on a tower I got cheap from somewhere - wish I could remember where. Please let me know if anyone recognises it.

This one is also designed to be a remnant of the old airfield Junktown grew up on. In my fevered mind's eye it will nestle in a sea of abandoned airframes and shanty houses, just one more relic of the old world.

The model is MDF. Painted with cheap spray cans and salt and hairspray. Signs are just printed on card and weathered a little for effect.
