The Great Northen War, Österbotten Infantry Regiment 1708
« on: June 21, 2015, 12:58:45 PM »

A few more units have been added to my club's Great Northen War Project. This time my main effort has been The Österbotten Infantry Regiment - a unit raised in western Finland in the province of Ostrobothnia.  The miniatures are a mix of 28mm Wargames Foundry and Warfare Miniatures.

This and few things more can ve seen on my blog..

This particular unit is made up by minatures from wargames Foundry and Warfare minatures. Wargames Foundry speaks for itself. They are easy to paint up with a reasonable result. They a chuncky with rather few details. Still they are nice miniatures, though these miniatures are a bit aged.  The Warfare minatures are more modern in style. A bit more anatomically correct and the details are a bit more detailed. That means that you can reach really good results, but you need to be a bit more focused when painting them.
