My Frostgrave Table..so far.
« on: July 27, 2015, 07:52:02 AM »
I'm a bit rubbish at the hobby side of things so over the last five or six months I've been picking up as much of the Battlefield-in-a-Box Gothic range as I can find and afford...no easy task as most pieces seem to be impossible to get hold of. Still, I've managed to pick up just about enough for a Frostgrave table.

I've written a bit more about my thoughts and plans on my blog and there are some more pics, if you're interested.

That sir, is an impressive looking table!

Even pre-painted terrain looks awesome when properly placed and supported by themed other terrain pieces. I especially like the ice crystals; they give the whole setup an eerie, otherworldy feel. Which is appropriate, since Felstadt was covered in snow and ice through magical means.

I'd love to play on that table indeed...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Where are the crystals from?  They make nice scatter terrain with a bit more variety than the ubiquitous small ruined walls or piles of rubble.

The crystals are a great idea. I have a bunch of them from the AT-43 "Frostbite" expansion box, so I'll be stealing this idea from you. Thanks! :-)

Oooh, you got everything! I got lucky and went to my local brick and mortar game store yesterday and they had just about everything Battlefield in a Box high up gathering dust on a shelf that they needed to reach on a step-ladder!  Score!  :D
