Building a Frostgrave table - Blog
« on: August 11, 2015, 12:33:33 PM »
Hi everyone,

Frostgrave has prompted me to start a hobby blog. So I've begun tracking my progress at making a Frostgrave table.

I'd love for you guys to pop over and have a look, and drop me a comment on the blog if you can offer any advice or encouragement - hell it's all helpful :)

The blog is found here https://jimmiwazere.wordpress.com/

Here's a picture of a house I'm currently working on to hopefully whet your appetite :)

Thanks for reading

Jimmi

Ah the Hang over house! :D I'd seen it already, on the FB group probably ;)
maybe you could make it an inn called the Hangover House or something like that  ;D

I like the house, it looks really Mordheim/Frostgrave!

Thanks you two.

Perhaps a pub called the hangover house needs to happen :)

If making the roads is too slow - how about covering sections with snow, or rubble?

Then you will only need about half the sections of cast road as you would otherwise - Frostgrave is a ruined city after all.

Hi All, new Frostgrave table blog post up.

I've got a cool website to share with other builders out there, and also need you help with a decision about the floor!

Drop me a comment on the blog if you have an opinion :)

Are planning to have "drop in" pieces like the house for all the non road areas? Will they all be interchangeable?

Hi Robh,

Yeah the board is fully modular. you can change and rotate the main board tiles as you see fit and they'll fit together in many ways.

The houses and any other scenery I make will all be drop terrain, based on a hardboard sheet. you'll then be able to drop this anywhere you like off the street network. Aside form houses and ruins I'm also planning a few things like snow drifts, abandoned carriages, a gallows etc

Ideas are welcome :)

Hope this answers your question. Thanks for looking. if you enjoyed this please visit and like my facebook page for future updates :)
