Brummies Necromunda/Inq28 thread
« on: August 10, 2015, 12:02:55 PM »
Having decided to quit Victorian Steampunk and other small projects. I've decided to crossover my post apoc terrain with some Underhive antics and maybe even a bit of Starport action. Having sourced and traded a ton of Necromunda figures to use in the project its time to put paint brush to figures.

First up off of the paint table is a Van Saar Ganger who has lingered around for ages on the paint table whilst  I debated on a paint scheme for him. Starting this project I think he screams Van Saar. Though I think he would make a good Harlon Nayl from the Eisenhorn trilogy. I have plenty of other fig started more will be coming soon.

Got a set of Industrial Terrain to mix in with my Post Apoc stuff

Great start, mate.
I gotta agree with the Harlon crossover, spot on.
 :-* :-* :-*

Where is that industrial terrain from?
Looks perfect for my needs too.

Nice start.  :D

Second the terrain details. I think MDF scenery will suit industrial buildings very well. Yours look great.
Ray.

Very Van Saar - appropriate levels of facial hair, even if he's a bit lacking in the ponytail department! But he does look right at home in the Necro world.

Thanks guys. Its from an ebay seller. Wargames Tournaments. It came pre-painted. Mine was from a private seller and I managed to get it a slightly lower price.

Yes indeed I think as he's bald he's allowed to skip the Pony tail.

Maybe the socket on the back of his head is for a prosthetic pony tail :)

lol Brilliant  lol I'm sure you could make a scenario out of that: wakes up after a heavy night out, hungover and someone has purloined his heirloom prosthetic ponytail - his last link to the father he never knew...

Good re-appropriation of that BTGOA figure for Necromunda - he makes an excellent Van Saar. :)

I think that Bovan Tuk from the same model range might make a decent Ratskin Scout too (although he'll need a weapon swap...).

Cheers wasn't planning on doing much until September but couldn't help myself having a dabble lol.

Yes indeed I think he'd make a good bounty hunter or scummer as well.
