I keep having recurring fantasies about a Termight range, including Terminators (proper Terminators) and Terminator Berserkers.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

He doesn't look like anyone I would want to buy a used donkey from.

Very promising.

I'm hoping to pick up a box or two for ibq28 and age of sigmar conversions :)

Here is a non heroic scale Statuesque head posed on a frostgrave body.

Same head compared to the Frostgrave heads.

Ta Wolfen! Aye, they do look a wee bit disproportionate in the other direction.

Poor Steve Buscemi.

Words outta my mouth. What'd he do to you, Scurv? lol

I think we're totally used to seeing exaggerated forms of women - the big boobs, tiny waist, back out the hips, in general, and then in wargaming even more so, that the difference seems bigger.

The point of my ramble was that I accept men and women are fundamentally different shapes, but not the heaving rectangles and sighing hourglass extremes we are used to...

Agreed - I come here to relax and enjoy other people's modelling and gaming talk/pictures/tutorials etc, etc, etc...not to have topics become politicised in line with certain agenda's.

Well, if it's any consolation, I agree with Annie but not because of any 'political' agenda (I don't think there was one) but because of my own arty-farty elitist reasons. As an addendum to part of this goofy rant: I've heard the 'female minis need big boobs and tiny waists so you can tell they're women' meme, and once upon a time I even believed it. These days I think it's because people can't sculpt something more subtle, or can't be bothered/rush through too quickly to sculpt something more subtle, or, well, for more 'politically related' reasons. (I'll maybe say more in the Women in Wargaming topic, but I'm wary of getting back into that hofflenosh)

not having predominant boobs doesn't not mean it's not a woman.

And vice versa. Look at GW ogres...

A preview of one of the cultist heads has been posted. I have posted it here on my Wargame News and Terrain news blog: http://wargameterrain.blogspot.be/2015/08/northstar-miniatures-upcoming-hard.html?m=1 looks interesting but looking forward in more previews.

That looks great for a khornate Bretonnian retinue and a blue-eyed wight. Oh November, why so far?

Short note - I spent this afternoon/ evening playing with all the heads. Statuesque heroic are totally perfect,  they just look bigger in that picture for some reason.  Seperate thread and pictures to come tomorrow!

These look fantastic! I've yet to start painting my enchanter, sigilist, apprentices, soldier box and undead encounters pack but hey ho...roll on November. With a stroke of luck I may just have the backlog done by then. Where's a real life chronomancer when you need one?!  lol

Definitely looking forward to these.  Been scrounging up all of my plastics I can find...the kit bashing will commence until morale improves.

If they're robed, perhaps they can be used in conjunction with the soldiers kit in order to make custom wizards.

Yeah a robed one with a book and good pose would be cool. :)

The box artwork does not seem to suggest that, though.

They are more 'robed' than the first Soldier set, and with the addition of a spear, you have a wizard's staff already in there following a quick snip of the spearhead.
