What's distinctively French? (Absence of the longbow aside)
Presence of the crossbow?  :D

Is there a rule set available that handles the the use of the vuvuzela?
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Only that it has to be set on fire as soon as it's used, along with the user  >:D

I already have a lot of French and English for Agincourt but I may well revisit my Hussites.

Darrell

I scratch built three Hussite war wagons a few years ago and bought some of the Kingmaker figures.
The figures were made by two different sculptors.  Some are like the Perry Agincourt range and other more like Front Rank.
I am travelling around factories in the Far East at the moment.  When I get back, I will post some pictures.

did I see any pics of the wagons? I don't seem to recall but that could just be my memory playing tricks? Love to see them if you fancy posting up some pics(?).

Yeah, the Late (and great) Jim Bowen and Ian Mountain to be precise.

Some are like the Perry Agincourt range and other more like Front Rank.

The Mountain stuff fits very well with the Perry stuff and the Bowen stuff with FR.

Great, look forward to it Mick.

Darrell.

PS. Now moved just gotta order furniture! ie you are one step closer to having the book scanned! :)

The Perry blurb clearly states that they probably won't be released in 2015.

Which is a bit odd as this would mean there won't be another Perry plastic release before the end of the year. Unless of course the British colonials have jumped the queue and are next in line, but it didn't look as though both sets were very advanced three up-wise.

Be still my heart! On both counts!!  :) :) :)

Hmm. That is a bit odd, isn't it.
It's only August. No more releases this side of Christmas?
We had the medieval light cavalry at Salute, and have recently had the British Napoleonic light dragoons. Was that it for the year 2015 then? Two sets doesn't seem much compared with previous years' outputs...  :(
Or am I missing something?

Maybe Renedras schedule. The second box of Frostgrave soldiers will be out in November and its Renedra who are responsible for tooling those too.

I wonder if they've just got a lot of work on?

Renedra handle the tooling for most British companies releasing wargames plastic figures, so you may well be on to something here.

From speaking to Perrys last week, it appears that the NZ dio took up about 4 months of their schedule this year - then there's the Agincourt one too, so I suspect that the plastics releases are later than originally planned. So the French HYW box looks like an early '16 release, sadly....
