Where can I purchase blue flowers?
« on: 20 August 2015, 08:39:05 AM »
I have looked on several websites to purchase Silflor Blue flowers, but these do not seem to be available. Can anyone provide me with a link to any Silflor style Blue flowers, I am looking to recreate the appearance of bluebells. Links would be great. Thanks

It may seem like a daft question, but could you not use white ones and dab a little thinned blue/indigo ink onto them?

Also, what about other brands of flowers - like Noch or MiniNatur for example?

Do you mean like static grass which has blue specks, or ones which look like realistic flowers? For the later then I'd tell you to look at model trains sites for paper or laser cut ones. If its Static Grass then I'll suggest a German retailer which covers dozens of different colours and styles ...but I'm at work right now and can't remember their name, so you'll have to wait till I'm home to check the packaging. ;)

Not daft at all, this is already my back up plan.
Tony,Thanks for the links, not exactly what I was after, but load's of stuff that I can use, may be able to adapt the meadow flowers.

Okay, cool! I just wanted to check, as it seems that blue flowers are not a common colour made by anyone - although white and purple are more common it seems.

This site appears to have some Noch flowers in stock (in the UK). I think it's a blue and purple mixed set, but I think you could still dye the purple ones a little and then mix them together for a bit of visual variety?
