Bear Rider
« on: September 25, 2015, 07:25:56 PM »
From the people that made the post-apocalyptic Across The Dead Earth game:

Now, I'm happy there's no mounted rules in FG, but for this I might make an exception.

(Not available yet, it's the first of a few variants they're going to put on KS soon-ish iirc, along with Stag Riders.)

That is one cool bear! Any experience with the company and kickstarter previously?

I backed Across the Dead Earth and was happy with the service and figures I got.
They had a KS that failed to fund earlier this year (The Shattered Crown) that this was going to be part of, so they're looking at running a smaller KS this time around.

They're really nice guys. I stock a couple of their moderns.

Looks like some good models to come out of the Kickstarter (even though it didn't make it, I think they're going ahead just slower). I'm curious if there will be mounted rules in any later expansions as there are some brilliant mounted models out there which would work well.

No link yet, but they've said the Kickstarter will go live 1st November.

Couple of painted shots:

Also a cool model!

We mat well be adding female Bear riders as well as bow armed Stag Riders to our range - as backers are voting right now on the first Stretch Goal.

We're only £200 away from making these stags and bears a reality.

Funded! Great looking model! Backed the Across the Dead Earth kickstarter it was funded and delivered ahead of schedule and one of the best companies I've backed.

Those are fantastic bears - look bigger than Grenadier and or Reaper - pity these are not also mounted by dwarves - do like the idea of a stag mounted mini.

They look awesome. May have to house rule mounted soldiers just to field them. Thanks for sharing

The project funded last night! Huzzah!
That means units of Warbears and Stagriders will be going into production!

It also means we get to talk about Stretch Goals. At the moment we have a poll open to vote on what the first stretch goal should be. It's between a female bear rider and bow armed stags so far!
