Recommended washer retailer for specific dimensions?
« on: October 03, 2015, 05:44:53 PM »
I was buying 'Star Pack' washers from a local hardware store that were perfect but they no longer do them and have been wasting money buying packs online just to discover the dimensions are no longer the same (bigger hole, not exactly 25mm) ...and so many listings I look at don't give me all the dimensions anyway, and it's getting frustrating taking a punt on random listings. Can anyone point me to an online retailer that you have personally used and verified, that would allow me to bulk buy washers with the following dimensions:

M4 (inner diameter of 4-5mm max), accurately 25mm diameter, and IMPORTANTLY a thickness of 1mm approx (not 1.5)

I'd also love to finD bigger sizes that more or less fit the same thickness but with diameters of 15,20,30,40 and 50mm.

Really hoping someone out there has already locked down the retailers and products that wkd save all this messing around, really appreciate any top tips :)

Search out Screwfix.

They might be able to help.

Have looked at their site before but they frustratingly have even less details on the dimensions than ebay listings!  In the specs they don't even list the outer diameter.  I suppose such isn't a huge concern in their imtended usage!
