Greetings,

Well this project all began with a humble purchase from a hobby store in Japan. I was hoping to perhaps use the models in Inquisitor, but they turned out to be a bit too small for this purpose. It looked like a super cool kit anyway.

But it got me thinking. My favourite game is Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Adam Jensen bears an uncanny resemblance to Snake, give or take. So I decided to start there, and convert Adam Jensen, and here he is. Yet another project was born!

A couple of close-ups of his cybernetic arm prosthesis with Combat Nano-Blade deployed. Arms have been deliberately gloss varnished as this is how they appear in the game, super shiny.

And the obligatory mood shot

I had vague ideas of using Infinity for rules, but then I read the Osprey Black Ops description in this thread http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=81510.0 . GuyB was very forthcoming about the type of rule set he was writing, and the description, with its infiltration, stealth, guards, silencers, hacking and ability to make asymmetric forces seems like a perfect fit! I can see individual Augs being upgraded with a homebrew points system for different augmentations.

Black Ops has been ordered and is on the way, along with a variety of modern military and police kits for conversion. In the pipeline are augmented mercenaries, SWAT, Belltower soldiers, and Harvester gangers.

More to come, cheers
The Baron

Looks good!

If you're willing to fiddle a bit with balance, I think the Infinity rules would work well for that sort of gameplay actually (plus, they're free!). For that matter, a number of the infinity sculpts would work quite well for various Augs too (especially those from the Aleph faction).

Example from somebody else's efforts to model Adam Jensen here. And no, he didn't ask for it. ;)

Excellent conversion, really love it. But isn't 1/35 a bit of a hassle to do? Would be hard to combine it with other miniatures or not?
I'm too stoked for Black Ops. Mainly because I think Infinity isn't suited as a rules system for this kind of secret ops missions.

Thanks guys :)
I just got a bunch of 1/32 kits in the mail, so looking to get some factions started soon - not quite sure who to begin with! Will post some WIP photos as I build them, probably start with some Belltower mercenaries.

And the new trailer got released today, for more inspiration for this project

Awesome project!  Deus Ex: HR was terribly underrated and I'm looking forward to Osprey's Black Ops too.  Your Adam looks sharp.
