Many thanks gentlefolk for the good suggestions, some of them need more attention and maybe even need to purchase some of them. Only thing with this many sets is that one gets more unwanted/unsuitable miniatures than wanted ones.

I hope to have suitable set of minis to represent action in Finland during the mentioned period but since then were quite a number of locals taking part (more than paid soldiers) I need to have a smallish horde of armed civilians to swell the ranks.

The Lion Rampant rules don't quite reach the said period but with little bit of tweaking they should be ok. And Osprey is also releasing En Garde! rules (base on Ronin) that at least according to the description fits the era in question.

Of course I still need to find the opposition - more armed civvies and then some Muscovites as well.
